Porters Park Golf Club has a clubhouse that combines the best of the traditional and the modern.
There was a considerable improvement in the facilities in 1991 when over a million pounds was spent improving and extending the clubhouse. This resulted in improved catering and changing room facilities in addition to providing a spacious new bar. When undertaking the improvements care was taken to maintain the character of the clubhouse and as such the members bar and domed lounge retain their original features.
Porters Park offers excellent clubhouse facilities with smart, wood panelled locker rooms and impressive bars, lounge and dining room with excellent panoramic views over the course.
The clubhouse regularly hosts society and corporate days, social evenings, parties and weddings. Lunches, dinners and buffets are served from both set and à la carte menus.
